Map Of The Whole Internet

19 01 2008

Do you have feeling that the internet is infinite and expands faster than the Space itself? Authors of http://thewholeinternet.wordtothewise.com/ decided to map whole address space IPv4 so that you can now see in a graphical format, which address spaces belong to whom. Maybe you’ll find out who’s your neighbor, or simply that why there is so much free space despite the fact that many warn us that we will have to soon migrate onto new addressing IPv4.

This crazy map contains 4,294,967,296 IP addresses and processes them onto a huge image and let you zoom into it and pan around. “Just like google maps, but more internetty.”
